(Ryan Michalesko / Staff Photographer) CRIME AND COURTS [Man accused in Greenville shooting released from jail after new evidence, officials say]( The 23-year-old man accused in a mass shooting at a party outside Greenville last month was released from jail Tuesday after officials said [they’d found evidence likely to clear him of the crime](.  Also: A massacre of nine, including U.S. citizens, leads to a promise of assistance by President Donald Trump and puts [Mexico’s president back in the hot seat]( over a horrible crime wave.   And: A man dies after [a Halloween shooting]( in Arlington, police say.  ADVERTISEMENT ELECTIONS [Texas voters say yes on state income tax ban]( Texans - who already don’t pay a statewide income tax - [voted Tuesday to make it even more difficult for state leaders to impose the tax on them]( in the future. The constitutional ban was on its way to passing overwhelmingly, with Gov. Greg Abbott issuing a statement in praise of the vote.  Also: Activist Lorraine Birabil [had a large lead in the special election]( to replace Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson in the Texas House, but the contest appears headed to a runoff.   And: Arlington schools scored a $1 billion bond, Mesquite has a new council [and other local election results.](  BUSINESS [American Airlines seeks to expand again at DFW Airport with 2 new gates]( American Airlines has asked the airport to approve a plan to add the new gates in Terminal E, including passenger jet bridges.
