Most of Uber’s Dallas employees will work in finance, human resources and sales, Miller said. They will support the company’s transportation-related businesses, including ride-sharing, food delivery and the development of urban air taxis. The new office comes at a challenging time for Uber. He recorded 121 total tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles. He is part of a young linebacker duo with a lot of promise, especially if the Cowboys can figure out a way to sign both Smith and Leighton Vander Esch to long-term deals.  Zeke watch: As emotions start to become involved, [the Cowboys have entered a pivotal time in Ezekiel Elliott's holdout]( writes SportsDay's David Moore.   Pony up: If SMU quarterback Shane Buechele's days of performing for crowds of 100,000 vanished with his transfer from Texas, [his enthusiasm for the game has not]( writes SportsDay's Tim Cowlishaw.  ADVERTISEMENT (Brandon Wade/Special Contributor) PHOTO OF THE DAY Chef David Uygur uses the sous vide method to prepare octopus tentacles, shown here served with Pimenton Aioli and potatoes, at Macellaio in the Bishop Arts district in Dallas. He shares their pain. He's a recovering drug and alcohol abuser. McCallister is also one of Dallas' most sought-after chefs. He's a self-described introvert, someone who tries to avoid big events or on-camera appearances despite being named one of Food & Wine's "best new chefs" in 2014. But when staffers at the 24 Hour Club asked him to be the host chef for their fundraiser, the Dallas All Star Chef Classic on Oct. 13, McCallister didn't say no.
