(photo by Jason Janik/Special Contributor) [‘Liberty Hills’ development in Anna causes heartache for residents of rural community]( Mo Manouchehripour raised his right pinky finger to the sky as he spoke to the Anna City Council about his home — a dream he and his wife achieved after 27 years of sacrifice and hard work. “I planted two hundred trees, oak trees, not even thicker than this,” he said at a July council meeting. Today, the 70-year-old college professor worries about what will come of those trees. A string of city council votes dating back to May cleared the way for a development called Liberty Hills, which will hug the northern boundary of Manouchehripour’s property.
