[Makhosi Khoza: ANC hounds are worse than apartheid forces](

ANC MP Makhosi Khoza has been one of her partyâs most outspoken members against President Jacob Zuma. She was clear she planned to vote against the president in the recent no confidence vote. As her opponents in the ANC prepare to pounce, GREG NICOLSON spoke to Khoza on Sunday.
[Semenya seals world 800m crown](
Caster Semenya took South Africa's medal tally to six and added to her bronze in the 1,500m final by winning gold at the IAAF World Championships on Sunday night. Semenya set a new national record and moved to eighth best of all time. Lynsey Sharp finished last.
[White House defends Trump's Virginia response](
The White House has defended President Donald Trump's non-specific condemnation of Saturday's violent ultra-right protest that resulted in one woman being killed and 19 injured in a deadly vehicle ramming attack. Trump's initial response drew criticism after he laid fault at "many sides" rather than the white supremacists responsible. Subsequent videos from the crazies interpreting this as an "approval" surfaced, with many a chorus of "Heil Trump".
[Seventeen killed in vicious Burkina Faso attack](
Jihadists have killed 17 people in an attack at a hotel restaurant in Ouagadougou. Security officials have closed off the capital and troops have been moved in. The attack is said to have been by an al-Qaeda affiliate group, and they are believed to still be within the Hotel Bravia.
[SpaceX to launch super-computer into space](
Elon Musk's space start-up will be launching an unmanned cargo ship towards the International Space Station today. Contained within is an HP Enterprise super computer. The "Spaceborne Computer" will be used in future deep-space missions, helping direct astronauts onward towards Mars.

Virginia State Police inspect the site where a vehicle hit protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, US, 12 August 2017. According to media reports at least one person was killed and 19 injured after a car hit a crowd of people counter-protesting the "Unite the Right" rally which was scheduled to take place in Charlottesville on Saturday. At least 15 others were injured in clashes during protests.
