May was clear in that the UK would not hold on to bits of "EU membership", and would focus on its own comprehensive trade agreements, while also having free trade with the EU. Having her Brexit Cake and eating it seems to be May's theme of the day. [Fire fighters contain Table Mountain blaze] Over a 100 fire fighters were deployed overnight to battle a fire that broke out on the slopes of Table Mountain. As of today, the flames were under control but by no means completely out. About 57 fires have broken out in Western Cape in the dry season so far. [Turkish night club suspect 'confesses'] Abdulgadir Masharipov, the Isis-linked attacker of a nightclub in Istanbul has allegedly confessed to carrying out the attack. Arrested on Monday, Masharipov confessed today, according to Istanbul's governor. Given the bruised and bloody picture released by officials, it's unclear whether the confession came before or after his injuries. [Ford Kuga victim's family to sue] Reshall Jimmy's family has announced their intention to sue over the death of their child after his Ford Kuga burst into flames.
