Protesters gathered outside the CTICC demanding action from President Cyril Ramaphosa. They were met with platitudes from a state official prompting a redirection of the protest to Parliament. [MTN Nigeria targeted over xenophobic violence]( All MTN stores in Nigeria will be shut in response to the targeting of its outlets over South Africa's latest wave of xenophobic attacks. Premises in three cities were targeted prompting the closure announcement by MTN. Extra Panados then for the MTN Nigeria CEO. — [Carrie on my wayward son - extradition bill to go]( Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has vowed today to withdraw the controversial extradition bill. The policy was the kindling upon which Hong Kong's protests ignited and its removal is one of five demands made by protest leaders. The announcement by Lam is a positive step towards restoring stability. [Lions get the blues for Currie Cup final]( The Lions will don blue for their Currie Cup final clash against the Free State Cheetahs. The jersey change for their Bloemfontein bout is a nod to their 130 year's old former Transvaal team strip.
