Two separate attacks by rogue military officers left the country's Army Chief of Staff dead and three others killed. A senior officer [attempted to seize control]( of Amhara, 500km away from Addis Ababa. The US Embassy had also Tweeted reports of gunfire in the capital itself. [Houthi rebels strike Saudi airport]( Yemen's Houthi militants are believed to have attacked Abha airport in Saudi Arabia, killing one person and wounding seven others. Authorities claimed that a drone had struck the airport parking lot, raising even larger concerns over increasing Houthi capability in carrying out long-range attacks.
