Turkey restarts Istanbul elections, Woods awarded high honour

The move was criticised by the winning opposition Republican People's Party, who called the re-run a "dictatorship". Given the state of Turkish politics in recent years, they might just have a point. [Mueller report justifies charges]( Nearly 500 former Justice Department officials have released a joint statement in which they argue that Donald Trump would have been charged with obstruction of justice were he not the president. The statement was referring to the Mueller Report. US law, however, prevents a sitting president from being charged of a crime. [Tiger Woods awarded highest US civilian honour]( Golf legend Tiger Woods has been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. It is the highest honour that the United States can bestow upon civilians and Woods is just the fourth golfer, and the youngest, to receive the award. [Protester throws egg at Australian PM]( Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been hit in the head with an egg. The egg-thrower in question, a female protester, was swiftly arrested after the stunt. In response, she defended her action, mentioning Manus Island, Australia's notorious refugee detention centre.
