[Sudanese people turn against military council](
Large numbers of protesters have remained on the streets of Khartoum following the removal of Omar al-Bashir. The crowds were demanding the subsequent stepping down of the military council, which they claim - quite rightly - is part of the same rotten regime. Whether the military answer with words or bullets waits to be seen.
[SpaceX pulls off successful launch](
Space Exploration Technologies managed to launch its Falcon Heavy rocket on Thursday, successfully delivering a Saudi Arabian satellite and its first paying client's payload into outer space. Moreover, SpaceX was able to successfully retrieve all three boosters at sea without calamaty.
[Israeli moon lander fails to land](
Israel's SpaceIL spacecraft failed to land on the moon. The lander would have been the first privately-financed space craft to land on the moon. Dubbed "Beresheet", the lander's engines failed above the moon, resulting in its inevitable crash on to the surface.
[Disney launches Netflix-seeking missile](
Disney has set a launch date for its own streaming service set to rival Netflix. Priced at just $7 a month, Disney+ will hit American and Asian markets near the end of the year. South Africans, and indeed Africa as a whole, has not yet been given a release window, the only continent to miss out (as always.)
