The unit will be taking a very close look at maladministration at the National Health Laboratory Service, as well as a vehicle tender scandal within the City of Johannesburg. The latter, for example, related to an R86-million tender awarded by the ANC's Joburg administration in 2014. Herman Mashaba had since cancelled the contract after forged documentation was uncovered. Talking to the SABC, Dlamini said that her inclusion was the "will of the people".
