[Russian navy fires on Ukrainian ships]( Russian naval vessels fired on three Ukrainian ships attempting to enter a disputed ocean space in the Crimea. The targeted ships were shot at in the Kerch Strait, injuring one sailor and incapacitating one of the vessels. Russian defended its hostile actions on the grounds that the Ukrainians were conducting "dangerous maneuvres". [US]([shuts border post with Mexico over refugees]( President Donald Trump ordered the closure of a border post in Southern California on Sunday. The Tijuana-based crossing had become the target point for some of the migrant "caravans" to attempt a forceful entry into the US. Mexico itself condemned those attempting to "violently" breach the border, ordering their immediate deportation.
