Ramaphosa reveals his economic master plan

Focusing on allocating public spending into thematic silos such as job creation, education and healthcare, the President is hopeful that this would help lift the darkening economic skies gathering around the country. [eSwatini goes to the polls]( eSwatini's citizens went to the voting booths today in what has to be one of the more ridiculous elections held this year. In the land of an absolute monarch drowning in Maybachs, political parties are banned. Voters instead get the privilege of choosing between a bushel of individuals, almost all of whom are completely loyal to King Mswati III. In all, a rather ludicrous waste of a Friday afternoon. [BCCSA rules in favour of SABC]( The Broadcasting Complaints Commission Tribunal has established that the SABC did not violate any code clauses when broadcasting a presidential address on 31 July. The BCCSA was ruling on a complaint by the DA that it had not been allowed to present its opposing point of view. However, the tribunal ruled that the DA's own recording 10 hours later was done in a "reasonable" amount of time. [Dozen Mozambicans killed in extremist violence]( At least 12 people have been killed in Mozambique's troubled north since October last year. Another 14 have been wounded, the AFP reported, in attacks attributed to suspected jihadists. The oil-rich region has plunged into violence following an expansion into the exploitation of the resource-rich area.
