[Migrants flood into Brazil as Venezuelan economy collapses](
Venezuelans continued to move into Brazil as their country's economy entered a serious freefall. The currency, now virtually worthless, has driven many over into neighbouring Brazil, where anti-migrant sentiment is reaching a near-Trump level of hostility. President Nicolas Maduro, it seems, is now firmly hell-bent on emulating Robert Mugabe's economic leadership as much as possible.

A man in California is suing Google over the unwanted tracking of his phone. Disabling Google's "location history" setting yielded no result, leading to the allegation, now in court, that Google had made false representation over just what tracks who, where.
[Eagles surpass Michael Jackson for all time sales](
Thirty-eight million sales of the Eagles' greatest hits was what was needed to topple Michael Jackson's Thriller from the biggest selling album ever spot. The Recording Industry Association of America. made the announcement after taking into account digital sales of the Eagles' box set, something which had not been done before.
[No more tuna-tourism in Tsukiji](
Japan's iconic Tsukiji fish market is starting a ban on tourists attending the pre-dawn tuna auctions. Beginning in September, the forbidden auction will proceed as normal until a new, larger facility is completed for the entire market to move to. Concerns over earthquake safety, sanitation, and general stability of Tsukiji prompted the planned move. Tourists, however, will soon be able to return to view the auction, from a deck, behind glass. All nice and safe and sterile.
