The PA withdrew largely due to a statement by the EFF, with Mbuyiseni Ndlozi calling the PA a party of "thugs". [FT chief to return portion of salary raise]( John Ridding, the chief executive of the Financial Times, has announced that he would return some of his hefty pay increase back to the organisation. Ridding received a 25% increase in pay to a whopping $3.2-million. After protests from FT staff, Ridding agreed to give back over half of the increase.
