[Secretary to Parliament splurged millions âextravagantlyâ on travel and luxuries](
By Marianne Merten
International and local travel totalling almost R4-million in two-and-a-half years secured by iffy means. Blue lights used unlawfully, while even using Parliamentâs cars for the occasional school run. [Champion's League semi marred by serious assault](
One suspect has been arrested in the wake of a serious attack on a Liverpool supporter. A group of Roma hooligans are believed to have side-stepped police and entered a Liverpool supporter's area near Anfield. Sporting hammers, belts and other weapons, the Roma supporters appeared on CCTV footage to have seriously harmed one victim. If it was any consolation, Liverpool utterly thrashed Roma 5-2 in response.
[Cambridge Analytica insists it is no 'Bond villain'](
Marketing analytics firm Cambridge Analytica has insisted it did no wrong, and that it was "no Bond villain". CA's spokesperson denied the use of Facebook users' data to manipulate the 2016 American election or for pushing pro-Brexit communications. The company also completely denies possessing an orbital laser beam, a Persian cat and a giant tank full of sharks.
[Colombian drug lord faces charges in New York](
Daniel "Don Mario" Rendon Herrera, one of Colombia's most powerful drug cartel leaders, has appeared in a New York court on drug trafficking charges. Herrera, a former paramilitary member, pleaded not guilty to the charges. Don Mario was believed to have headed a massive cocaine smuggling enterprise, as well as being responsible for the assassination of victims in North and South America.
[Ramaphosa must fire Supra today, or else - ANC](
Discontented ANC members in the North West have given President Cyril Ramaphosa until today to fire Supra Mahumapelo or face a major shut-down. The ultimatum came from ANC North West members, student leaders and chiefs of a business forum in the province. Mahumapelo's list of friends, it seems, grows ever thinner.
