Hugh Masekela passes away

It was announced on Tuesday by the musician’s family that 78-year-old Masekela had succumbed after a long battle with prostate cancer. In his almost eight decades, Masekela lived a life of extraordinary vigour and action: encompassing an apartheid childhood, global fame in exile, a battle with addiction and above all, a relationship with music that he described as borderline religious. WHILE YOU WERE WORKING [Death of Hugh Masekela mourned worldwide]( Jazz legend Hugh Masekela has died today aged 78. Masekela had been battling prostate cancer and died surrounded by his family. They stated that sad as they were, they were comforted by the fact that Hugh Masekela lived an "ebullient and joyous life". [Dlamini dodging continues]( Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini was told by the presiding judge to stop dodging questions during her cross-examination today. Contradicting statements and a tiff with her translator were all the orders of the day for Dlamini, who insisted yet again on speaking only in Zulu. An entirely separate inquiry will be required to find what scraps of shame Dlamini might have left. [US solar distributors' back against the wall]( American businesses selling Chinese and South Korean solar panels are expected to take a major knock in a new "America first" tariff policy. President Donald Trump approved tariffs of roughly 30% on solar panel imports and over 50% on washing machines, the majority of both originating from China and South Korea.
