Now, Senate Democrats are maneuvering a workaround with a new proposal that could help end Tuberville’s blockade. A procedural resolution would allow most of the 300-plus promotions Tuberville is blocking to be considered on the floor en bloc. Adoption of the resolution, however, would likely require 60 Senate votes. That is why we are calling on the FULL Senate to support this resolution–Republicans, Democrats, and Independents must put our national security first and defeat Tuberville’s blockade.
