Friend, No one should be stripped of their right to reproductive healthcare. Still, over 36 million

Friend, [sign the petition: Strengthen reproductive health care access for disabled people.]( [Sign the petition]( No one should be stripped of their right to reproductive healthcare. Still, over 36 million people of reproductive age, including 2.9 million disabled people, live in states likely to ban abortion post-Dobbs decision. This is alarming as disabled people face an 11 times greater [risk]( of maternal death. The Reproductive Health Care Accessibility Act [(PDF)](, reintroduced in Congress, aims to dismantle barriers to reproductive health care for people living with disabilities. It would enhance reproductive health care accessibility by: - Offering specialized training for healthcare providers, equipping them with the skills to cater to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities; - Creating a national center to provide resources related to the provision of sexual and reproductive health care for individuals with disabilities; - Setting forth a mandate for educational institutions to increase the representation of individuals with disabilities in the reproductive healthcare workforce. It's time to end the systemic barriers to health care. Let's pledge to leave no one behind, ensuring everyone receives the care they need, exactly when they need it.
