Friend, after General Motors and Stellantis failed to make progress during negotiations, UAW members

Friend, after General Motors and Stellantis failed to make progress during negotiations, UAW members [expanded]( the strike to 38 parts depots across 20 states. A reported 5,600 Big Three workers have joined nearly 13,000 already on strike. [Add your name: Solidarity with United Auto Workers!]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( In stark contrast to General Motors and Stellantis' intransigence, UAW [reports]( "substantial progress" with Ford on a number of key issues—including cost of living adjustments, job security, and ending wage tiers. There are still a number of concerns that need to be addressed, hopefully swiftly. So, while the union continues to strike one Ford facility, it has not escalated further against the automaker. The Big 3 raked in billions in profits while paying outrageously low taxes. Ford and GM [lavished]( their shareholders with $14 billion in dividend payments over the last five years―34 times what they paid in taxes―while spending another $3.6 billion on stock buybacks to inflate their stock, further enriching their investors. Meanwhile, wages of rank-and-file workers lagged. When corporations see record profits, workers deserve record compensation. Autoworkers have a robust history of establishing wage and working conditions standards that benefit all of us. A victory for UAW is a victory for working people. The sooner companies come to their senses and come to the table with a serious offer, the sooner the strike will end. Help build public pressure on automakers by demonstrating solidarity with UAW today.
