Friend, [sign the petition: Say NO to Ron DeSantis' war on education in Florida.]( [Sign the petition]( Ron DeSantis and Florida Republicans have declared war on education, and the impacts are no joke. First, the state Board of Education passed new [Black history standards]( that repeated discredited and deeply offensive claims that Black people somehow "benefited" from slavery because it "taught them useful skills." Now, Florida can no longer offer [AP Psychology]( because the state's "Don't Say Gay" law makes it illegal to teach key aspects of the course. Last year, over 28,000 Florida high school students took AP Psychology for college credit, but future students will not have the opportunity. Ron DeSantis and his cronies can peddle lies and block progress, but they can't rewrite history. Nor can they stop the existence of sexual orientation and gender identity. Florida's students deserve truth, not propaganda. We will not back down.
