Friend, Ron DeSantis is [getting defensive]( about the new Florida history standards that outrageously suggest Black people "benefited" from slavery. Vice President Kamala Harris, on a recent visit to Florida, [accused DeSantis]( of wanting to "replace history with lies" and "push propaganda to our children." The NAACP has issued a travel advisory for Florida, and even some Republicans have opposed the new curriculum. This [revisionist history of slavery]( is not new, and has been used for the last 150 years to hold back our country.
