Please give me a few moments to introduce myself and tell you why Iâm running. Friend, I just launched a campaign for Congress to unseat George Santos. Winning this seat will be no easy feat. We expect to be heavily outspent by the Republicans who are desperate to hold onto a slim majority in the House. [Iâm asking you to be one of the very first people to join my campaign. I donât need to tell you why George Santos is unfit for office. You already know. He lied about being Jewish. By the way, Iâm actually Jewish and proud of my heritage. He lied about his family being victims of the Holocaust. Mine were. He pretended to start a nonprofit. I actually did start one called Student Voice. Now heâs under indictment for 13 felony charges. And Iâm running to bring honest representation back to the voters he lied to and deceived. This will be a hard fought race. Itâs only possible to win if we get enough early fundraising momentum to compete with the Republicans whoâll throw the kitchen sink at us to hold onto their majority. Hereâs the good news.
