Friend, good news: Every single House Democrat the discharge petition to bring a clean funding bill

Friend, good news: Every single House Democrat [has now signed]( the discharge petition to bring a clean funding bill to the House floor that would avoid default. All we need now are five House Republicans to put country above party, and say "no" to MAGA extremism that is threatening a historically unprecedented default in the United States. [Sign and send the petition to your member of Congress: Support a clean funding bill. If your member is a Democrat, thank them. If they are a Republican, tell them that we face a dangerous default on June 1st and a clean funding bill is the only responsible move.]( [Sign and send the petition]( This is no joke. We face a default on June 1, [which could mean]( that seniors miss Social Security checks, veterans are denied health care and families go hungry–all because MAGA extremists want to push outrageous cuts by threatening to blow up our whole economy. MAGA may own House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, but that doesn't mean they control every single Republican. The only sensible move right now is to pass a clean funding bill to ensure that we end this hostage negotiation. All 213 Democrats are on board to bring a clean funding bill to the House floor via discharge petition. All we need now are five Republicans to sign the petition. How do we get five Republicans? [Eighteen represent districts]( that voted for Joe Biden. If they don't sign the discharge petition, they are siding with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene over the good of their constituents. We need to make them own this catastrophic default, and the best way to do so is to have them hear from a lot of very angry constituents. If your member of Congress is a Democrat, send them a thank you note now and tell them to keep fighting. If your member of Congress is a Republican, give them a piece of your mind. [Sign and send the petition: We cannot let MAGA extremists throw our country off a cliff. Time for 218 House members to pass a clean funding bill via a discharge petition.]( [Sign and send the petition]( Keep fighting, Paul Hogarth, Daily Kos The 18 House Republicans whose constituents voted for Joe Biden in 2020 are: David Schweikert (AZ-01), Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), John Duarte (CA-13), David Valadao (CA-22), Mike Garcia (CA-27), Young Kim (CA-40), Michelle Steel (CA-45), Don Bacon (NE-02), Tom Kean Jr. (NJ-07), Nick LaLota (NY-01), George Santos (NY-03), Anthony D'Esposito (NY-04), Mike Lawler (NY-17), Marc Molinaro (NY-19), Brandon Williams (NY-22), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05), Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01), and Jen Kiggans (VA-02.)
