Friend, the we all knew was there has been made: the big GOP donor supplying Justice Clarence Thomas

Friend, the [connection]( we all knew was there has been made: the big GOP donor supplying Justice Clarence Thomas with lavish vacations, gifts, and even a [house]( for his mother is tied to conservative organizations and groups that have been before the Supreme Court and have lobbied the Supreme Court–and yes, Thomas was sitting on the bench throughout. [Sign the petition: Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thomas has a LONG history of conflicts of interest while ruling on the bench–[rulings]( tied to obvious conflicts. This cannot be ignored any longer. Thomas has no intention of doing the right thing (resigning) and a Congressional investigation will simply highlight what we already know–Justice Clarence Thomas is not fit to sit on the Supreme Court. He must be impeached. In order to ensure any integrity in the Supreme Court, we need you to join us in demanding just that. [Sign the petition: Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thanks for all you do, Erin Tulley, Daily Kos P.S. Below is an email we sent out calling for Justice Clarence Thomas’ impeachment: --------------------------------------------------------------- Friend, [sign the petition: Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( It was reported previously that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has concealed decades of lavish trips paid for by a major GOP donor. This immediately prompted calls for his investigation, resignation, and impeachment with experts noting that this is likely illegal as all federal judges and justices are required by law to disclose most gifts. Now, we have [even more]( very shady, possibly illegal behavior. Since 2006 Thomas has reported somewhere between $270,000 and $750,000 from a family real estate company called Ginger, Ltd., Partnership. The problem is that Thomas and his wife shuttered Ginger, Ltd., in 2006. It doesn't exist. Thomas has earned up to $750,000 over the last 17 years from a ghost company. [Sign the petition: Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( The Post notes that this error is "among a series of errors and omissions that Thomas has made on required annual financial disclosure forms over the past several decades," ones that "raised questions about how seriously Thomas views his responsibility to accurately report details about his finances to the public." If Clarence Thomas is not acting ethically, how can we possibly expect him to rule ethically?! Thomas must be impeached immediately for continued ethical violations and possible illegal activities. [Sign the petition: Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thanks for all you do, Erin Tulley, Daily Kos Daily Kos needs you now more than ever We are falling behind our projections for two of our three major revenue streams: advertising and list building.
