On April 12th, the 5th Circuit placed the complete suspension on hold, but allowed other restrictions set by Judge Kacsmaryk to move forward, including making the mailing of mifepristone illegal. Meanwhile, [PhRMA](, the pharmaceutical industry’s largest and biggest-spending lobbying association, continues to stand on the sidelines, re-issuing only a cut and paste [statement]( from before the ruling was even announced that rather tepidly supports the FDA. Some pharmaceutical companies have [stepped up]( to fight for our freedoms, filing an amicus brief urging the courts to allow the FDA's approval of mifepristone to remain in place. PhRMA must do the same. [Sign and send the petition to PhRMA: Stand up for mifepristone now.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( PhRMA needs to join this fight and stand up for mifepristone now. They must follow the [lead]( of Democrats in Congress and other pharmaceutical companies and file an amicus brief with the appeals court supporting the FDA and defending access to this safe and effective drug. [They need to act fast and that means PhRMA needs to hear from us–right now–demanding action.
