The DREAM Act of 2023 would provide a pathway to citizenship to over 2 million undocumented people, including DACA recipients. With DACA in imminent danger, we need permanent solutions for immigrant youth and DACA recipients. Since then, agencies like ICE and CBP have seen expansions in funding and capacity to do the work of terrorizing and abusing immigrant communities. Also since 2001, millions of undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children have been made to [live in fear](of GOP-led attacks. As of just a few weeks ago, nine states made a plea to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas Judge Hanen to end DACA altogether. It's as simple as this: No one deserves to live their entire lives under constant fear of detention, deportation, and family separation.
