Friend, [sign the petition: Denounce Elon Musk’s tyrannical takeover of Twitter](. [SIGN THE PETITION]( Twitter was a source of education and community for me, and many others, for years. Through shared interests and a love for writing, I met lifelong friends there from across the world. Because of increased censorship and harassment, I stopped logging in as much. Now, with Elon Musk at the helm, I doubt I’ll ever use Twitter in the same way again. Musk has taken a platform that allowed people from all walks of life to connect via tiny bites of writing and turned it into a hate speech and disinformation free-for-all. Musk isn’t interested in preserving anything that once made Twitter a more welcoming and collaborative place. He simply wants to lean into the white supremacy, transphobia, and antisemitism that has crowded the app in recent years. It’s downright shameful. [Sign the petition: Denounce Elon Musk’s tyrannical takeover of Twitter.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( In solidarity, Sarah Hogg, Daily Kos P.S. Read on for more information about Musk’s gross mismanagement of Twitter and its workforce. --------------------------------------------------------------- Friend, [sign the petition: Denounce Elon Musk’s tyrannical takeover of Twitter.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Elon Musk spent $44 billion to purchase Twitter, espousing free speech protections. Since then, Musk has embarked on a nonstop campaign of mismanagement, hate speech, and misinformation. From hate-filled rants to abusive labor practices to down-and-out temper tantrums, we denounce Musk’s Twitter reign! From the jump, Musk eliminated nearly [half of Twitter's workforce](, or about 3,700 jobs – including employees who dared to criticize his management. Elon Musk is not the savior of free speech – he’s just a man with money and a platform to espouse his tantrums. Join us in vehemently denouncing Elon Musk!
