Friend, as expected the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Dozens of states have anti-choice

Friend, as expected the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Dozens of states have anti-choice laws that will go into effect as a result of the ruling of this far-right, Trump-infested court. We need to ensure the safety of pregnant people who seek abortion care, as well as the sustainability of the already dwindling number of medical professionals who perform abortions. Not only will state legislatures move to ban abortion, but we can also expect them to chip away at agencies that provide comprehensive sex education, sexual and reproductive health care, transportation and any other support for pregnant people who don't want to be. [This Court's overreach into our healthcare decisions will not be the end of safe abortions. Please donate $1 to each of these clinics and help us build a stronger foundation of abortion access across the country.]( [DONATE]( Now is not the time to panic. It's time to put our trust in people on the ground who have been preparing to face a post-Roe reality. It's time to invest in organizations that still plan to be a beacon for abortion justice despite this setback. It's time to move with purpose. Abortion justice will look different for people in different states. It may look like running in-person health centers, or it may look like increasing access to medical abortions via the mail. It may look like providing a transportation fund for pregnant people in states where abortion is banned. It may look like counseling people who are self-managing abortions. Whatever it looks like, we must protect this access. Pregnant people in the U.S. will have a hell of a time accessing safe, secure abortion options, but we can help ensure that more people get the health care they need. On the ground, health care providers have already been creative, resourceful, and adaptive. We can make sure these clinics stay up and running. [Abortion providers have been preparing for a post-Roe reality for some time, and they are not out of options. Please donate $1 to each of these clinics working to expand national access to abortion care.]( [DONATE]( Keep fighting, Irna Landrum, Daily Kos If you wish to donate by mail instead, please send a check to Daily Kos, PO Box 70036, Oakland, CA, 94612.
