Dear Friend, Amazon is taking a page from Donald Trump's playbook. They filed a complaint to the National Labor Relations Board seeking to overturn the Amazon Labor Union's historic victory at a New York City warehouse. Amazon's corporate leadership just can't accept that they lost. They spent millions of dollars on union-busting and at the end of the day, the warehouse workers weren't buying it. Amazon needs to accept reality, stop fighting their workers, and acknowledge the Amazon Labor Union. [Sign Demand Progress' petition: Tell Amazon to stop trying to overturn the Amazon Labor Union's historic victory!]( [SIGN ON]( The Staten Island warehouse union drive was a classic David versus Goliath story. Local organizers and employees went toe-to-toe with one of the largest private companies in the world — and they won! But in many ways, the fight is just getting started. Amazon's corporate leadership will do everything in their power to crush the Amazon Labor Union, starting with this effort to throw out the results of the union election. The next step for the workers at the warehouse is to negotiate a contract, and there's a lot Amazon will likely do there as well to try and undermine their own workers and block their union. That's why we can't afford to take our eyes off what's happening at the Staten Island warehouse. Workers and organizers made history by voting to form a union. Now it's time for Amazon's corporate leaders to accept that the workers won — and bargain with them fairly.
