Friend, U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy allegedly profited from a U.S. Postal Service program he helped plan and run – that breaks federal law. Why are we continuing to let him get away with this? [Sign and send the petition: DeJoy maybe have broken federal law – he must be investigated.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( DeJoy [profiting from the huge USPS undertaking]( of delivering free COVID tests right to our door not only shows a blatant moral disregard, it is in direct violation of federal conflict-of-interest laws. Previous conflict-of-interest scandals weren’t enough to oust DeJoy. Questionable financial agreements with a sitting Board of Governor member wasn’t enough to oust DeJoy. Perhaps breaking federal law can finally be the last straw to remove a Trump implant who has continually attacked one of our most beloved institutions from within. [Sign and send the petition: The DOJ and USPS Inspector General must immediately investigate Louis DeJoy.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( Thanks for all you do, Erin Tulley, Daily Kos P.S. Below is an email we sent out earlier calling for an investigation into Louis DeJoy’s conflicts-of-interest: --------------------------------------------------------------- Friend, it’s been a long struggle to remove U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, and you have fought with us every step of the way. He’s still there, and he’s still shady. Upside? His shady behavior may be the thing that helps us the most… [Sign and send the petition: DeJoy broke federal law – he must be investigated.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( A new (and yes, another) DeJoy conflict-of-interest has been exposed. Earlier this year, the U.S. Postal Service and the Biden administration embarked on the largest disaster-relief mobilization in the history of the USPS, delivering free COVID tests right to our doors. Ahead of this massive and hard-worked undertaking by our postal workers, Louis DeJoy seems to have decided to use the opportunity to personally profit, illegally. DeJoy was closely involved in planning the logistics of the distribution of the test kits which were supplied by a few companies, one of which DeJoy owns stock in—stock [he has not divested](. Stock he traded in while the program was being planned and implemented. By failing to relinquish his stock while participating in the test-delivery project, DeJoy may have violated a federal conflict-of-interest law. That is why we are calling on the Department of Justice and the USPS Inspector General to immediately investigate DeJoy. [Sign and send the petition: The DOJ and USPS Inspector General must immediately investigate Louis DeJoy.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( Thanks for all you do, Erin Tulley, Daily Kos Daily Kos Relies on Readers Like You We don't have billionaire backers like some right-wing media outlets.
