Friend, the Senate has confirmed Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. She makes history as the first Black woman and first public defender to serve on the highest court in the land. And [Mitch McConnell]( already wants you to know that, if he gets his way, she'll be the only person President Biden ever gets to put on the Supreme Court: [twitter.com] "Asked whether he would hold hearings on Biden’s Supreme Court nominee if there’s an opening next year and Republicans hold the Senate, McConnell repeatedly declines to answer the question." McConnell may not want to say out loud that he'll block President Biden's future nominees to the Supreme Court, but the threat is clear. McConnell refused to give President Obama's Supreme Court pick a vote in 2016 and [several Republicans]( at the time said that they would not allow a Democrat to fill the seat even if it meant keeping a vacancy on the court for four years in the event that Hillary Clinton won the election. [Another vacancy on the Supreme Court would allow Democrats to whittle away the 6-3 right-wing supermajority on the court. We need to make sure President Biden has a Democratic Senate ready to provide his nominees a fair hearing. That's why I'm asking you to donate $1 to each of these six Democratic Senate campaigns right now.]( [DONATE]( These six races were identified by our expert team of elections nerds as the Republican seats most vulnerable to Democratic challengers. We've already endorsed one candidate, Cheri Beasley in North Carolina. As primaries play out in the rest, we're using ActBlue's nominee funds. All the money donated to these funds will be held in escrow until Democratic voters choose a nominee in their state's primary, at which time all the money will be transferred in one fell swoop to the winner. This will give them a huge boost just as their general election campaign gets underway, so [please donate $1 to each of them right now](.
