[Friend, please log in to, or sign up for, Vote Forward to start writing and stockpiling letters to infrequent, but lean Democratic, voters in key Senate swing states and House congressional districts, urging them to cast their ballots this November.]( The letters are statistically proven to increase turnout, and you can write them at your own pace, on your own schedule, from the comfort of home, no matter where you live. [SIGN UP TO TURN OUT VOTERS]( [Increase your impact: Donate in $5 to Daily Kos to help us turn out as many Democratic voters as possible this November.]( I will be honest with you–it will be difficult for Democrats to win the upcoming November midterm elections and maintain control of Congress. History and polling are both currently against us. However, as my colleague Paul Hogarth outlined in the email below this one, there are statistically proven, concrete steps we can all take right now, on our own schedules, no matter where we live, from the comfort of our homes, to increase the number of people voting for Democrats in the key states and congressional districts that will decide which party controls the Senate and House of Representatives after the November election. One of these steps is to log in to, or sign up for, Vote Forward, and begin "adopting" infrequent, but lean Democratic, voters in the states and congressional districts that will make the difference this fall. Vote Forward has identified tens of thousands of these potential voters in two key races for U.S. Senate–Arizona and Georgia–and eight crucial congressional districts. If we are going to win both of these states and all of these congressional districts, then we need to get all of these potential voters to the polls. To get all of these potential voters to the polls, we need to write letters to every single one of them. And, if we are going to write them all letters, then we need volunteers to step up right now and get to work. [Please log in to, or sign up for, Vote Forward, to start writing and stockpiling letters to infrequent, but lean Democratic, voters in key Senate swing states and House congressional districts urging them to cast their ballots this November.]( The letters are statistically proven to increase turnout, and you can write them at your own pace, on your own schedule, from the comfort of home, no matter where you live. [SIGN UP TO TURN OUT VOTERS]( [Increase your impact: Donate in $5 to Daily Kos to help us turn out as many Democratic voters as possible this November.]( Thank you for all that you do, Chris Bowers Executive Campaign Director, Daily Kos P.S. Below, you can see the email that my colleague Paul Hogarth sent to you on this topic a few days ago --------------------------------------------------------------- Friend, the November election will be here before we know it. We could lose our majority in Congress, if infrequent Democratic voters do not turn out. That's why the work begins now, and Vote Forward has identified key congressional districts where a few letters to Democratic-leaning voters urging them to cast ballots will be decisive. [Click to sign up or log into your Vote Forward account, and start writing handwritten letters to these voters. You do it on your own time, and in the privacy of your home. After you stockpile the letters, you drop them in the mailbox on a particular date.]( [Click to volunteer]( [Can't volunteer right now? Chip in $3 to help Daily Kos get out the vote for Democrats.]( Vote Forward is the most popular get-out-the-vote activity in Daily Kos history. All you do is write personalized letters to folks who don't vote in every election, but are very likely to vote Democratic. And [studies have shown]( that this kind of gentle persuasion is effective. When you go to the Vote Forward page, you will see which House districts we have prioritized to send letters to (along with Arizona & Georgia that are key to holding the Senate.) Starting this work now will pay off dividends when it comes to Election Day on November 8th. While these letters won't get mailed out right away, we need you to start writing now and to stockpile them. Why? Vote Forward sent 17 million letters in the 2020 election (with Daily Kos accounting for 2 million of them.) It takes a long time to write 17 million letters, and you can start working on them at any time, at your own convenience. [Click to sign up or log into your Vote Forward account, and help us send 17 million letters to Democratic voters this election. It will be crucial for us to keep the House.]( [Click to volunteer]( [Can't volunteer right now?
