One of Biden’s candidates is [Veronica Rossman](, nominee for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Rossman has spent most of her career as a public defender and currently serves as senior counsel and supervisory assistant public federal defender at the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Districts of Colorado and Wyoming. On July 15, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to advance the nominations of a number of public defenders and civil rights lawyers to the full Senate floor, including Rossman. [We must confirm more public defenders to the federal bench.
