Friend, Covid-19 exposed labor inequality in America. Low-wage workers, who are disproportionately women, migrants, and people of color, were hit the hardest by the pandemic’s economic fallout. As America begins the rebuilding process, the PRO Act will guarantee that we build back better by making sure workers will receive fair wages, decent benefits, and safe working conditions. [Sign and send the petition: We must pass the PRO Act to protect workers rights--even if passage requires eliminating the filibuster.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( Congress has the opportunity to build a stronger, more equitable workforce by passing the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act. The PRO Act creates fairness to the economy by strengthening the federal laws that protect workers’ right to join a union. The PRO Act also empowers workers to exercise their right to organize, holds employers accountable for violating workers’ rights, and guarantees fair union elections. [Sign and send the petition: We must pass the PRO Act to protect workers rights.]( [SIGN AND SEND THE PETITION]( The PRO Act passed in the House, but is unlikely to pass in the Senate without eliminating the archaic filibuster, an outdated Senate tool that gives veto power to a fraction of senators who represent as little as 11% of the American population. Workplaces need to be held accountable for not providing basic rights to workers. We have an opportunity to set a standard of fair wages and safe working conditions by passing the PRO Act. Passing the PRO Act will ensure that workers rights are protected. If we want to see the PRO Act pass --- and countless other bills that end up failing on the Senate floor--- we must eliminate the filibuster. Take action now to end this Jim Crow relic!
