Friend — The American justice system is on the brink of change for the better. Manhattan must set the example and standard for delivering fairness, safety, and justice for all — but especially our most vulnerable. I’m Tali Farhadian Weinstein, and I’m running for Manhattan District Attorney because I believe we need to work together to build a more fair justice system for New Yorkers. [SIGN THE NEW YORKERS FOR TALI PETITION TO HELP BUILD A MORE FAIR NEW YORK]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( As District Attorney, I plan to: - Reduce incarceration. Reform bail and reduce incarceration as a response to low-level, non-violent crime, investing in community-based alternatives to policing. - Transform Manhattan’s response to sexual assault and domestic violence. For sex crimes, I’ll focus investigations on the offender’s actions, not the victim’s behavior. Domestic violence is a public health crisis, and as DA, I will take it on. - Reduce gun violence. I’ll work with community leaders to develop new strategies to deter and prevent gun violence. [SIGN THE PETITION to join me in my fight to reduce incarceration, transform Manhattan’s response to sexual assault and reduce gun violence.]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( From President Obama’s Department of Justice to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office, I’ve spent my career fighting for fairness and equal justice, and shaping a national model of progressive prosecution. Join me in this fight today. – Tali Paid for by New Yorkers for Tali. Does not equal endorsement. Daily Kos, PO Box 70036, Oakland, CA, 94612. Sent via [ActionNetwork.org](.
