Friend, Trump's naked attempt to undermine mail-in voting by gutting the Postal Service is backfiring: - Trump's handpicked saboteur Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has been forced to retreat, and is now ["suspending"]( any further action to destroy the mail system before Election Day - DeJoy's statement has been met with widespread skepticism as this suspension will reportedly [not roll back changes]( already made to the Postal Service - Twenty state attorneys general have banded together and [filed suit]( to stop Trump's postal sabotage - Speaker Nancy Pelosi is bringing the House back to take action and [undo the damage]( Trump and DeJoy have already inflicted on the Postal Service But one person remains unfazed by this megascandal: Mitch McConnell. McConnell, backed by his do-nothing Republican majority, released the Senate for a recess at the end of last week, despite having taken no action on new relief for the ongoing coronavirus crisis or the then-newly unfolding Postal Service crisis.
