Friend, [sign the petition to USCIS: DACA is here to stay. Take new applications from eligible youth.]( [Sign the petition]( In a relief for 700,000 young immigrants and their families, the Supreme Court [ruled that]( the Trump administration illegally ended the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, meaning the program stays in place for now. But while undocumented youth won in court, the Trump Administration had stopped accepting new applications in 2017—and now thousands of eligible applicants are [still in limbo](. And rather than comply, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) released a [disturbing statement]( by its Deputy Director on June 18 that suggested they will defy the ruling. [Sign the petition to USCIS: The highest court in the land has spoken. You must enforce DACA, and allow eligible youth to apply.]( [Sign the petition]( This stunt is outrageous, and real people's lives are at stake. According to the Marshall Project, about [66,000 applicants]( have been waiting for the last three years. Advocates report getting flooded with phone calls from eligible undocumented youth who are ready to apply. Senate Democrats and members of Congress have requested USCIS to comply with the Supreme Court decision, and begin processing new DACA applications. For USCIS to do otherwise is in defiance of the highest court in the land. [Click to AUTOMATICALLY sign the petition to USCIS: The Supreme Court has spoken, and DACA is here to stay. It is time to take new applications from those who have waited 3 years.]( [Click to AUTOMATICALLY sign the petition]( Our message to the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services: I am outraged that after the highest court in the land spoke out and said DACA is here to stay, that the Trump Administration is still refusing to take new applications. About 66,000 potential applicants have been waiting for the last three years, and now is the time to let them apply.
