Friend, Donald Trump was acquitted for his crimes against the American government. Despite trying to force foreign allies to sabotage the 2020 election in his favor, refusal to comply with Congressional subpoenas, and flagrantly abusing the office to add to his own wealth, more than half the Senate is willing to look the other way as long as they maintain their positions of power. This level of putrid corruption is exactly what the For the People Act (H.R. 1) would root out and destroy upon its passage.
