Friend, impeachment is not something you can just sweep under the rug, but you wouldn't know that from listening to Senate Leader Mitch McConnell on Fox News this week. He wants to bury Trump's impeachment trial and pretend Trump's corruption can just be forgotten.
But we will not let happen.
We have sent field organizers to Kentucky to organize rallies, we are preparing mobile billboards to follow McConnell around, and we will continue to drive thousands of calls to his offices. There will be no way he can ignore us.
And we aren't just targeting McConnell's home state of Kentucky. We are heading into the backyards of Susan Collins of Maine, Cory Gardner in Colorado, Martha McSally in Arizona, Joni Ernst in Iowa, Thom Tillis in North Carolina. Lisa Murkowski in Alaska and Mitt Romney in Utah. We will make sure that every persuadable Republican U.S. senator will hear your message about impeaching, convicting and removing Trump from office.
A campaign of this magnitude gets expensive and on Monday morning, we will need to make decisions about how many ads to buy and start the hiring process for organizers. That's why it's critical we continue to raise money to cover our costs.
[Can you give $5 RIGHT NOW to send #MoscowMitch and persuadable, Republican U.S. senators a loud message to help remove Trump from the White House?](

Friend, #MoscowMitch recently visited Trump's most trusted advisor, Sean Hannity, on his Fox News show and declared that he will be rigging the impeachment trial in the Senate. [McConnell said:](
"Everything I'm doing during this [impeachment trial], I'm coordinating with White House Counsel. There will be no difference between the President's position and our position as to how to handle this." So, McConnell will both be doing exactly what Trump tells him to do, and also be running the Senate trial determining whether or not Trump should be removed from office. In other words, Trump will be running his own trial.
[McConnell's statement means that we need to work even harder to make our voices heard and convince reachable Republican U.S. senators to uphold the constitution and put country over party. That is why we are taking our impeachment campaign directly to the home states of eight Republican U.S. senators who are vulnerable for re-election or who have been critical of Trumpâs behavior. Help us do so by giving $5 today.](
This upcoming week, we expect Congress to vote on the Articles of Impeachment and that they will pass. Moving the impeachment process into the Senate who will then decide the fate of Trump's future.
Over the past few months, we have worked relentlessly to drive over 40,000 calls and nearly 450,000 letters to Congress demanding that Trump be impeached. These actions made your voice heard and helped convince many moderate Democrats who were on the fence to support impeachment.
Mitch McConnell's led Senate will be tougher to convince. That is why we are expanding our efforts and taking our impeachment campaign directly to the backyards of vulnerable and persuadable republican Senators.
[This campaign was not in our budget at the start of 2019, but we simply cannot pass up on a chance to remove Trump from office. We must rise to the moment and do everything we can. That is why I am writing to you today; can you support our work to impeach, convict and remove Trump from office by giving $5?](
When it comes to convincing the Senators, we need to bring our impeachment campaign directly to them. That is why we are planning on buying digital ads, moving billboards and hiring field organizers -- all in their home states. All the while, we will continue to flood their offices with calls and letters.
We are targeting Republicans in vulnerable 2020 elections like Susan Collins in Maine, Cory Gardner in Colorado, Mitch McConnell in Kentucky, Martha McSally in Arizona, Joni Ernst in Iowa, and Thom Tillis in North Carolina. We also will not let up on Republican U.S. senators that have been critical of Trump's actions, including Lisa Murkowski in Alaska and Mitt Romney in Utah.
[We don't have much time to put this campaign together -- the trial in the Senate is expected to begin in early January. That means we need to raise a bulk of our budget by THIS MONDAY. Support our impeachment campaign by giving $5 NOW.](
