[Attorney General Barr's conduct is inexcusable and he should resign right now. Stand with Congressman Adam Schiff (CA-28) and demand Barr's resignation >>]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Friend, Attorney General William Barr must resign. I don’t say that lightly. I began my career in public service as a federal prosecutor. I have the deepest respect for the Department of Justice, and it is absolutely vital that we protect its independence and integrity. But, after what we’ve seen from Bill Barr, it is clear he can no longer lead the Department. Last night, we learned that Special Counsel Robert Mueller wrote to the Attorney General to express serious concern with Barr’s decision to summarize the 448 page Mueller report in the form of a misleading and inaccurate 4 page letter. After receiving Mueller’s letter, Barr appeared before Congress -- under oath -- and said that he was not aware of the Special Counsel’s reservations. We now know that was simply false. The job of the Attorney General is to be America’s lawyer, not the President’s lawyer. It’s clear that Bill Barr doesn’t understand the difference. [Attorney General Barr’s conduct is inexcusable. There is no sugarcoating this. He should resign. I need you to add your name right now if you agree.]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( Thanks, Adam Schiff (CA-28) Paid for by Schiff for Congress. Does not equal endorsement. Daily Kos, PO Box 70036, Oakland, CA, 94612. Sent via [ActionNetwork.org](.
