As an introvert, I'm not one who usually enjoys participating in activities where I'm constantly explaining things to people face-to-face or dealing with large and overwhelming crowds. So, I signed up with the MoveOn Text Team to make an impact in a way that feels effective and suited to my skills and personality. The Text Team is super responsive, and there were absolutely no tech glitches! I just requested batches of MoveOn members for outreach and clicked to send them texts asking them if they would join the Text Team with the preset language. Then, when I got responses from those folks I texted, I either selected one of the options from the drop-down menu or opted them out or according to their answers. Super simple and straightforward -- and my inner introvert was happy as can be.
