Friend, this week, Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's personal lawyer, pled guilty to violating campaign

Friend, this week, Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's personal lawyer, pled guilty to violating campaign finance law, evading taxes, and falsifying records. In the process, Cohen directly implicated Trump – claiming he acted with Trump's full knowledge and under his direction. And yet, Republicans are moving full steam ahead to confirm Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh – who coincidentally believes that a sitting president is above the law and immune from investigation and prosecution. [Enough is enough. This SUNDAY, August 26, Daily Kos and a broad coalition are mobilizing across all 50 states to TAKE ACTION and demand that our senators vote NO on Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Chip in $3 to help Daily Kos block Donald Trump’s get-out-of-jail-free card, Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.]( Even before this newest Trump-related scandal, Brett Kavanaugh was an unacceptable nominee for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court. Based on public documents and statements, we already know that Kavanaugh would vote to end Roe v. Wade and criminalize abortion, gut health care, upend the right to vote, oppose an LGBTQ person's right to exist, slash environmental protections, hand the keys of our government to wealthy corporations, and further damage workers’ and immigrant rights. Mitch McConnell and his right-wing co-conspirators thought this would be easy for them. But they didn’t see us coming. The more people learn about Kavanaugh, the more unpopular he becomes. And we’re getting more powerful every day. If Senators vote to confirm Kavanaugh, they would cement into place the worst and most dangerous of Donald Trump’s policies for generations to come. But we *can* win this fight if we stay united and make our voices heard. Are you with us, Friend?
