Taking away voting protections “is like throwing away your umbrella in a rainstorm because you

Taking away voting protections “is like throwing away your umbrella in a rainstorm because you are not getting wet.” - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg [Friend, add your name and join the Democratic Governors Association and stand with RBG to defend voting rights for ALL Americans.]( [SIGN ON]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Friend, Voting rights are critical -- they ensure that every American has the right to be heard in our elections, and stop the GOP from silencing the voters that they fear will stand up to them. But these critical rights are in jeopardy. One of the most critical defenses of voting rights is the Voting Rights Act, which provides critical protections for minorities when they go to the voting booth. But Republicans are hacking away at the VRA, even defending racial gerrymandering, which silences the voices of minorities. We can’t let them get away with it. [Add your name and stand with Democrats to defend the Voting Rights Act.]( [SIGN ON]( GOP led Supreme Court has ruled that racial gerrymandering is not a violation of the VRA. But Democrats are fighting back, making voter registration easier, and even sometimes automatic, like in Oregon. We’re fighting to make sure that the voices of minority populations are not quieted or ignored. Because our democracy thrives when everyone is heard. [Add your name so that ALL Americans have access to the ballot box.]( [SIGN ON]( Thank you, Team DGA Paid for by the Democratic Governors Association. Does not equal endorsement.
