Friend, I don't even know where to begin. Friday morning, Trump walked out onto the White House lawn

Friend, I don't even know where to begin. Friday morning, Trump walked out onto the White House lawn because he noticed his buddies from Fox and Friends were there. The next 60 minutes was nothing but a frightening deluge of authoritarian propaganda to the press. He spewed lies that the FBI was plotting against him, that separating children from their mothers at the border was the Democrats fault, and about North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, who Trump said "speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same." It was a train wreck that I couldn't stop watching. Every time he does one these impromptu press conferences or sends a tweet that is filled with lies and propaganda, he erodes Americans' confidence in our institutions. Trump's plan is working when you look at support for the Mueller investigation. Last year, 62% of Americans supported the investigation, this year only 54% support it. What's worse, few Americans even know that the investigation has already turned up evidence of illegality, and charged or indicted two dozen people and companies. [The right-wing media machine gives Trump a huge advantage of pushing lies and misinformation, but Daily Kos works daily to debunk fake news and report the truth.
