Ads haven't been able to for some time, in part because companies spend less money on ads and because Big Tech companies like Facebook and Google have taken over most of what remains of the online ad market at the expense of outlets like Daily Kos. We've been able to survive where so many other outlets have failed because of YOU. Donations from readers and activists like you make up more than 60 percent of Daily Kos's income. We literally couldn't do what we do without you. I mean itâwe simply wouldn't exist without you, friend. And, truth be told, if we closed up shop, nothing would come along to take our place.
