Stolen Supreme Court: Trump is now above the law (take action)

The legalese: Trump is immune from criminal charges for official actions but not unofficial acts. The real deal, as [summarized]( by Justice Sotomayor: "the president is now a king above the law." The conservative supermajority of the Supreme Court has ruled that former President Donald Trump has absolute immunity for his core constitutional powers. The Supreme Court’s decision can insulate many of Trump’s allegedly criminal acts from indictment or prosecution. The court sends the case back to the district court for it to determine the definition of official vs. unofficial. This, of course, delays Trump’s January 6 trial even further, but it also, and glaringly, lays a dangerous precedent for the position of the presidency. The lower courts that will now determine Trump’s immunity scope must rebut, showing that his unofficial acts posed dangers to his office, our democracy, and the American people.
