American politics has become so toxic that even Gold Star Families are now being unfairly pushed into the scrum. American politics has become so toxic that even Gold Star Families are now being unfairly pushed into the scrum. We all know that Joe Biden and his administration have not given these families the respect they deserve, especially the American heroes who were killed during the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan three years ago. But now, according to an[exclusive Daily Caller report]( even the bureaucrats running Arlington Cemetery are meddling with them. Read on to find out more. The Gold Star families, who lost their children during the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, invited Trump to Arlington National Cemetery. He laid a wreath there for the 13 service members who were[killed]( serving their country in Afghanistan. However, a Gold Star family told the Caller that Arlington National Cemetery was trying to make it difficult for the former President to[appear]( for the ceremony to honor their children, something the families requested. Arlington National Cemetery told Gold Star families that they could only be there for a specific time that did not work for everyone’s schedule and were also told the president could not join them at their children’s gravesites, the family told the Caller. Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Rep. Michael McCaul explained to the Caller that he was contacted by Gold Star parents Darin Hoover and Kelly Barnett, the parents of SSGT Taylor Hoover. Hoover and Barnett told him that Arlington Cemetery was giving the Gold Star parents of the U.S. servicemembers killed at Abbey Gate a hard time about coordinating a ceremony with Trump on the anniversary of their deaths. McCaul immediately reached out to Johnson to ask for his assistance with the matter and the Caller is told he continued to track it until it was fixed. Read more[here](. HOT OFF THE PRESS Anna Moneymaker / Staff / Getty I Zucked Up: Mark Zuckerberg[expressed]( regret Monday that Facebook caved to pressure by the Biden-Harris administration to censor content. In a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Zuckerberg admitted that senior Biden administration officials "repeatedly pressured" Facebook teams to suppress COVID-19 content that the platform otherwise would not have restricted and expressed frustration when Facebook disagreed. Zuckerberg told Jordan he now feels strongly that the platform should not compromise its standards "due to pressure from any Administration in either direction." Read more here. [This might be an overly autistic question, but are most illegals in California from Mexico?] Mexifornia: A bill[passed]( by the California state legislature Wednesday that would make some illegal immigrants in California eligible for generous cash assistance to buy homes has been sent to the desk for consideration of Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Under AB 1840, illegal immigrants with social security or taxpayer-identification numbers would qualify for a program called California Dream for All that gives first-time home buyers up to $150,000, with recipients only having to pay interest if they sell the property. RFK Game-Changer: The Daily Caller's Mary Rooke[breaks down]( why RFK Jr.'s endorsement of Trump could be a game-changer with a must-win demographic: Since Democrats threw President Joe Biden out the proverbial window to anoint Vice President Kamala Harris as the new nominee, female voters have flocked to her campaign. However, former President Donald Trump has a plan to bring a large portion of these voters back. One of Trump's greatest weaknesses is his inability to reach female voters on a large scale. While conservative women, in large part, enthusiastically support Trump, a swath of independent female voters aren't sold on his campaign. But that should all change now that presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his campaign in most swing states and fully endorsed Trump for president. Read more[here](. TRENDING Watch[here](. FOR THE RECORD Rock Bottoms: Harris-Walz campaign senior adviser Keisha Lance Bottoms on Tuesday dismissed Vice President Kamala Harris' avoidance of interviews as something that only matters to the press and "insiders." On "CNN Newsroom With Jim Acosta," Bottoms[said]( that none of the people she has spoken to on the campaign trail have raised concerns about the vice president not sitting down for an interview. Harris Honeymoon Over? The media love fest of Kamala Harris appears to be over,[according]( to pollster Frank Luntz. Luntz said Wednesday on CNN that Vice President Kamala Harris’ honeymoon phase “looks like it has reached its peak,” as she now holds an estimated three-point lead.
