Although we may want to blame God, he is the one who brings the hope, not the hurt. You can know for sure that Jesus Christ, who died for you, wants to be your strength. WHY? Because he loves you (Jeremiah 31:3; John 3:16). He’s on and by your side! In confident hope, you can say, “If God is for [me], who can be against [me]?” (Romans 8:31). All-wise Creator Lord, sometimes I’m not sure if I really want answers to all my Why? questions. Sometimes I just want to ask. Maybe questioning is an outlet for my anger. But at other times, I want to ask and I do want an answer. You’ve heard my Why?s, now make me wise to notice, hear, and respond to your answers and to accept them by grace and trust them in faith. Tune my spirit to your will in my life. Why? Because I truly do love you and want my life to give you glory, impacting other lives for eternity. Wisely, I pray in Jesus’ name.
