[Top 10 rounds: HeartFlow and Cybereason lead another down week]( For the third week in a row, rounds were down noticeably in the U.S. Only two rounds hit nine figures — one in the health care AI sector and one to a company that has been in the news recently for layoffs and a possible sale. Here’s a look at which U.S. tech companies have trimmed jobs recently. [Asia venture funding drops 57% with late stage hit hard]( Venture funding in Asia got off to a brutal start in 2023 with only $15.2 billion total, a decline of 33% from the previous quarter and a massive 57% from the first quarter of last year. The biggest drop among all rounds year to year was in late-stage and growth, with only $7 billion of investment there in the first quarter.
