We knew we were his priority, and his effort to show up was proof. He doesn't have to be there, but he wants to be, and it makes my children and I feel loved. It means so much when people make an effort for us. God appreciates our effort too. As unfathomable as it seems, God chooses to use us to fulfill his purposes on earth. He could easily do it all on his own, and there is no doubt he is in control, but he often requires our participation before he acts. Scripture shows that he works through those willing to make an effort for him.  [CONTINUE READING →](            You May Also Like:        [5 Strategies to Reconnect with God When You’re Feeling Out of Touch](  Kim Harvey Brannan As someone who has experienced occasional moments of distance from God, I want to share five personal strategies that have helped me overcome this sense of detachment and have led me to rekindle a deeper connection with our Creator.  [CONTINUE READING →](       [What Jesus Says about Causing Children to Sin](  Emma Danzey Some of Jesus’ strongest words recorded were spoke in regard to causing young people to sin.
